I really wanted to give 5 stars. But, I was miss quoted on the work for my vehicle. The initial quote went through 3 different hands and no one told me it was actually going to be double the price until my vehicle was in the shop and the job was halfway done. Service writer did his best to make it “right” by giving me a little discount, but still did not cover the 700 dollars extra I was quoted. A quote is a quote for a reason, and I believe if I was quoted that, it should be some where relative to that price, not double the initial quote.

This was the first time getting my new car serviced. I have had a Honda for over 20 years so I have never had any dealings with the MyChevrolet service department nor its staff. Everything went great! The service department employees are personable, kind and efficient. I had decided to wait since it was only going to be about an hour or so. The waiting area is comfortable and bright--lots of windows and comfortable chairs. The gentleman checking me in made sure I knew where the coffee was and told me to help myself. The car was done in the prescribed time limit and I discovered that it had even been washed which was great due to rain the previous week. I have no complaints whatsoever regarding this service. I am not really surprised it went so well because my daughter has been a long-time MyChevrolet customer and she is always pleased with her dealings with your dealership. Thanks for a great first time experience!

Service was prompt and done in a timely manor. They changed my fuel filter and charged me $250, that seems excessive! I asked them to check my A/C as it hadn’t been blowing that cold on warm days. He said if they run the diagnostic and do not receive a code they would charge me over $200, which did not seem right. I did not have them do it as Gilroy Chevrolet fixed the A/C when it didn’t work. My Chevrolet in Salinas tried numerous times and could not fix the problem. Hoping that the A/C isn’t going out a second time as the truck only has 43,000 miles on it.

Dealership is nice clean and friendly. I do wish there was a disclaimer on the website to schedule the service that from 1100 to 1300 technicians are on lunch. I went for a simple oil change and it took 3hrs 30mins. That is unacceptable amount of time.

I was helped by a new team member who told me the oil change was $129.95, which has gone up again for a basic oil change another $20 from last time I was there. When I got my vehicle, they left their oil finger prints on my door panel, steering wheel, left their floor sheet, and seat bag in my car, the side door panel had shoe marks as well. My car was given back to be unprofessionally cleaned.

Great people. I had several concerns (3) 2 where fixed when called about them. I asked if a mechanic can take a look at the truck as there is a rattling noise of some sort I can’t figure out. This was not addressed nor was it relayed to me what the status was. Seemed like the staff was short handed and were just trying to get the next person in and out. While I was called to be informed my truck was done by another representative I requested if my truck can be washed I was assured it would be done, it did not. I really have had great service here but this experience was the worst in the past 10 years I’ve been coming with my truck.

I had called your service dept and talked to Luis as the dealership service center where we purchased the truck was unable to even look at our problem of check engine light. Luis was very nice and said we could have it towed to their center and hopefully get to it as soon as possible. Next morning I get a call that they found #3 spark plug loose and lying on the valve cover. It was a simple fix and we picked up the truck. Extremely happy with the service and return of our daily driver. Luis went above and beyond to help us. We have purchased several vehicle from My Chevrolet but bought locally and had a extended warranty. The local service center had told me 2-3 weeks before they could run the scan. We have decided to not use that dealership any longer and will be taking our truck to My Chevrolet for anything needed in the future. Kudos to the entire service center.

I asked for Mobil 1 oil, got charged and paid extra for Mobile 1 oil, but herd the tech tell service manager he did not use mobile 1oil. My recipient says Dexnos oil also. Tech spilled oil all over my engine, and didn't wipe any of it up. Got grease and hand prints all over the truck ,and scratched the hood of truck. Also did not change the sticker on windshield, it still says I'm due for a oil change.

My wife first inquired about a truck on the lot and Bret Porter was very pleasant on the phone and happy to answer any questions. We then looked at another truck and went for a test drive, all of which was as expected. Bret was knowledgeable and kind throughout the experience. The fact that there was no hassle, no hidden fees, no agenda...it was simply here is the price and what we can do for you, we hope that it works. Although paperwork takes time the overall experience of purchasing a truck from MyChevrolet was easy. I'd be happy to do it again (this is our second purchase from MyChevrolet) and I am recommending the dealership and Bret to everyone in the area.
